Led by Shafieque Ahamed K.K, the son of the late Advocate K.K. Kammu, hails from Chavakkad, Kerala. Coming from a distinguished family with a rich legacy in law, his background has instilled in him values of integrity, diligence, and strategic foresight. Combining these principles with his entrepreneurial spirit, he has guided Travancore Solvents & Oils to achieve remarkable milestones in the global trade arena
He commenced his business in 2005. His firm Travancore Solvents & Oils was in importing of industrial oils like rubber process oils, base oil etc. We had another tools importing division dealing with trowels and other hand tools. Apart from importing, we have experience in distribution line business.
Beyond his own business, he was very much involved in the social and business life of the society. He was the joint convener of Kerala chamber of commerce and industries youth forum during 2011-12. Later he became the convener of KCCI youth forum in the year of 2012-13. As the part of the programs of youth forum, he have introduced many novel concepts and initiated for entrepreneur cell for youth to encourage business activities. He headed a business delegation of young business entrepreneurs to Srilanka. After the visit of business delegation to Srilanka he started Spices import from Srilanka like Black pepper, Cloves, Mace, Arecanut and Garcinia Cambogia. He represented FICCI from Kerala in the world expo held in Dubai from February 04 -10 – 2022.
Travancore Solvents and Oils has a turnover of 100 Cr. to the date. We expanded the business to export of rice and coffee from 2021.ln order to promote the local farmers in Kerala, We started to collect spices from them and traded in the Indian market along with the export and import from 2023.
