Founder & Managing DirectorMr. Shafieque Ahamed K.K, Founder & Managing Director of Travancore Solvents & Oils, is a
resident of Chavakkad, Kerala, which is famous for its spice legacy. Guided by integrity and hard
work, he began his career in business in 2005, and has developed the company to become a
trusted link between farmers in India and the global spice market.
In the years that followed, Mr. Shafieque became an entrepreneurial leader who has worked to
promote India's native spices into the global community and introduce international spices into
the Indian community. Focusing on empowering farmers, fair trade, and non-compromised
quality, he has made a name for himself in the domestic and international spice trade. And with
nearly two decades of experience, under his vision of transparency, sustainability, and global
reach, he continues to lead the company forward.
His Mission: Empower farmers, bring India's spices into kitchens around the world, and help the
Indian marketplace for spices incorporate fresh global flavors, with quality, trust, and
sustainability every step of the way.
